Yesterday was a day of adventure, as ~
Keiisah and I ventured out on a journey to discover as many opshops as we possibly could, armed only with my poor navigation skills and Keiis yellow stockings. Turns out, there are a lot of opshops. And so, with many U-turns and misdirection, my attempts at sewing an entirely new wardrobe of clothing have begun!
I bought as many second hand clothes as I could, because my poor University student lifestyle does not allow me to buy bolts of decadent fabrics

Unsurprisingly, my purchases soon became a small mountain of spoils in the back of Keiis car. The entirety of which I hope to turn in to Lolita-y, ruffly delights.
As of last night, I have started resizing a huge blazer, bleached the shirts back to white, and turned a tired pair of old shoes into pretty gems. You can see the
pictures on my blog!We also found an antique British Naval uniform in an antique shop, complete with named sword! The owner of the store was very nice, and moved it around so I could take pictures. It was a truly awesome outfit ... so much detail D:
The British Naval uniform looks so COOL! And of course I have been following your art blog keenly and coveting your pretty personalised clothes! <3
Argh, I wanted that uniform so badly ;A; Hehe, thank youuu <3 As I have been following yours! Will there be any updates on 'Field of Lilies' soon?~♥ It's looking really amazing so far!
There will be updates on Field of Lilies, I just need the time to get to it! I have to put in some overtime at work in the coming weeks and I also took on a massive commission that will take about 30-40 hours which I kinda need to get done.. fairly sharpish! So Field of lilies is sadly on hold but I cannot wait to get back to it. Its so much fun <3333333333333 I'm glad you like it!
btw I love your journal skin
to reply to two comments, in one, i'm sure that navy uniform would have been heavy, but with all that trimming and finery it would have been totally worth it. practicality is overated
